What a Five Star Family Educator Does

As a registered Five Star educator, you turn your home into a licensed learning hub—balancing the warmth of family care with the rigour of recognised early-childhood standards. Your day centres on nurturing each child’s growth while meeting all professional requirements that keep families confident in your service.

Provide a safe, engaging environment where each child feels a sense of identity, wellbeing and belonging.

Plan play-based experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

Build strong partnerships with families, communities and the service.

Comply with the Education & Care Services National Law, National Regulations and National Quality Standard.

Care for up to seven children at once (no more than four who have not yet started school).
